Autism and Jenny McCarthy
I had a brief conversation with a friend recently about Jenny McCarthy's belief that vaccines can lead to autism. Having graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology, I'm well aware that this is incorrect and it is terrifying to think of the consequences of such campaigns. While browsing Slate today I came across an article talking about McCarthy and Oprah's new deal. I found it very informational and recommend taking a look at it if you want to learn more.
